- Brian Gamber has been named the next Rend Lake College men's basketball coach. He takes over for Tommy Holder who stepped down from the position. Gamber most recently coached at Woodlawn.
- Katie Wagner was hired as the new Mount Vernon athletic director and assistant principal.
- Pierce Borah will be the new Mount Vernon baseball coach. He will take over for Tim Holloway after this spring season. The Mount Vernon school board approved the action at Tuesday's meeting.
- Dan Mings was named the Mount Vernon football coach at Tuesday's school board meeting.
- Luke Cooper is the new Woodlawn boys basketball coach. The school board approved the hiring at tonight's meeting.
- Casey celebrates its first Class L championship since 1995.
- Tim Holloway has been named the new Mount Vernon boys basketball coach.
