    Forbes Field in Pittsburgh was a little soggy before Game 7 of the 1925 World Series between the #Pirates and Senators so, with a capacity crowd on hand, they doused the infield with gasoline and set that shit on fire.

    There’s a bar behind the centerfield wall at Fenway Park named the Bleacher Bar. From there you can look out on the field through the centerfield wall and watch the game. Inside said bar is a men’s restroom from which you can also watch the game while using the urinal. The

    This is a stretch, but technically (part of) Petco Park is older than Fenway. The Western Metal Supply building was built in 1909. #Padres

    Home plate marker for Griffith Stadium, home of the Washington Senators from 1911 to 1960, (Senators II, 1961) lies in a hallway inside Howard University Hospital. Mickey Mantle hit (arguably) the longest home run in baseball history from this spot on April 17, 1953.
