- When you make it to 80! So proud of my mum. Adopted. Never found her parents. Married to my dad for 35 years who was a cool but pretty outrageous bloke. Still smiling despite being alone since he died 25 years ago. She’s done all she can for me, as I do now for her 💞 🎈🎉

- Everyone is appalled by the Gordon Elliott picture, but there’s no point in people denouncing the act in a way which means they themselves lose all class & decency. People take their own life over continued abuse. Seemingly justified or not, there comes a time to just hold back.

- Let's get this straight. Those who want horse racing banned due to a tiny % of fatalities are actually saying they want all race horses never to have lived. A totally illogical argument. And the saddest thing of all - the fatalities hurt those most who love them. Racing people.
