INCIDENT ALERT: Units are on scene of a structure fire in the 38100 blk of Charles Town Pike. Crews arrived to find an outside fire with minor extension into the home. Expect a large public safety presence in the area as units remain on scene for an extended period of time.

INCIDENT ALERT: Units are on scene of a vehicle crash into a building in the 45000 blk of Manifest Blvd in Sterling. Multiple patients w/ injuries reported. Avoid the area as crews remain on scene assessing the building & administering patient care.

(UPDATE 3:00 PM): 6 patients w/ non-life threatening injuries transported via ambulance to area hospitals. The building has been deemed structurally sound. Continue to avoid the area as crews continue scene eval. & cleanup. @LoudounSheriff will be conducting crash investigation.

This past Saturday, Captain Dannie Wilson’s name was added to the Line of Duty Death memorial located on the Oliver Robert Dubé Fire & Rescue Training Academy campus, which serves as a reminder to never forget those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our community.

Captain Wilson passed away on August 31, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. He proudly served the Loudoun community for over 25 years. We are committed to honoring his memory & will never forget his sacrifice. Thank you to all who gathered to remember Captain Wilson.

INCIDENT ALERT: Units are on scene of a house fire in the 21000 blk of Monmouth Ter. in Ashburn. Crews arrived to find a townhome w/ smoke visible from the rear & a fire on the rear deck. Fire is out. No reported civilian or firefighter injuries. Fire investigators are on scene.

(UPDATE June 8): Three adults & one child were displaced. Fortunately, no injuries were reported. Damages are estimated at $65,000. The #LCFR Fire Marshal’s Office investigation concluded the cause of the fire remains undetermined at this time.

Crews are on scene of an outside gas leak in area of Edwards Ferry Rd NE & the Leesburg Byp. Gas company is on scene. Several businesses in the area are being evacuated as a precaution. Several roadways in the area have been shut down. Avoid the area, traffic impacts expected.

…Several businesses have been evacuated, and additional businesses in the area have been impacted. There have been no reported injuries at this time. Continue to take alternative travel routes and follow the direction of law enforcement on scene.

(FINAL 2:45PM): The leak has been contained. The gas company will remain on scene completing repairs. Fire and rescue crews are working with the affected businesses to return and will then clear the area. The roadways are expected to reopen shortly after.
