Truth alarm! I'm a Democrat, & I always have been. Jamaal Bowman has been a Democrat for less than a decade, because he didn't agree with our Democratic values. The Democrats of #NY16 deserve a proud Democrat as their Congressman. That's me.

I was born and raised in Mt Vernon. When I was 7, I walked across the city because I couldn’t afford bus fare to get to the Wilson Woods Pool in the summer. When I was 17, I became the first person to graduate high school in my family, right here on Memorial Field.

It should not be hard to condemn this weekend's unprecedented, direct attack on Israel by Iran. And this morning, 404 members of the House voted to do just that by voting on H.Res. 1143. However, my opponent was not one of them. We deserve better.
