After 53 days in hospital with #COVID19 we were all thrilled to give one of our incredible patients a rousing goodbye send off this afternoon as he was discharged home - met by his partner and colleagues from @MerseyPolice. Very best wishes from everyone @LHCHFT @janetomkinson07

Each year, Mr Asante-Siaw and his amazing colleagues perform more than 1,200 thoracic procedures, including emergency surgery... He was also chosen as our Employee of the Month in Jan for being a much-loved and caring surgeon, who always puts patients first. #Hospital @Label1TV

We're so pleased that one of our new LED sky ceilings has been installed in intensive care, thanks to @lhchcharity. Hopefully this small change will help to make a big difference to the experience of our patients and families while they receive care and treatment at LHCH.
