It is totally unacceptable that police officers were assaulted by violent protesters who attempted to disrupt Immigration teams. They have my full backing in taking the most robust action possible & I want to thank them for their swift response to the incidents today.

The Met is arresting any black people they’re seeing around central London this evening while the fascists got to go home after a day of violence. There’s no question here about who is being targeted and criminalised and it isn’t the fascists

The cops are mopping up groups of young black people in the vicinity of Trafalgar Square, Leciester Square and Hyde Park. Had between 30-40 detained, searched and arrested in the last 1.5-2 hours

It’s never as easy as blaming one politician, one police Commissioner, or changing one law. Policing in Britain originates from policing of its former colonies. No reform can make police less violent, less murderous or less patriarchal - this is what they do. Defund and abolish.

FAO those who came to the Chris Kaba solidarity demo yesterday, or plan to make future demos. The Socialist Worker Party (SWP), which hands out the placards pictured, was involved in a cover up of rape and sexual assault perpetrated by a senior figure in the party.
