- Even more than the whole bimbo thing, the most problematic part of this is that she continually becomes the butt of a joke ABOUT being physically, mentally, and emotionally abused…by Lex AND Jimmy. And we’re still somehow supposed to laugh and like Jimmy.Eve showcases just how misogynistic James Gunn’s writing of women can be. Just because she saves the day in the end doesn’t make up for Gunn writing her as a blonde bimbo.
