This evening 50 years ago 1,000s of people went out into the streets of Birmingham to meet friends & family. Over 200 of these people eventually made it home, some with life changing injuries, 21 others never saw the light of day again! 200, 21, Zero Justice - Law & Order?

This time 49 years ago 21 souls had their whole lives ahead of of them. Some were married, had children, while others were yet to realise their full potential. Two never lived to see their sons born, or watch them blossom. By 8:13pm & 8:26pm they're lives were extinguished

Our beautiful, intelligent, kind, caring sister Maxine Hambleton would have been 68 today if terrorist cowards had not killed her & 20 other innocent souls. She lives on in our hearts & memories everyday. Maxine & the other families are why we fight because they have no voice

50 years! 21 innocent souls blown up, leaving over 200 survivors. 6 men convicted of crime they didn't commit & released 16 years later. Gov & police knew who real murderers were since 1975. Our families are STILL waiting for a decision for a S1 public inquiry!!

Not ONE front bench politician has remembered 21 of their own citizens slain 49 yrs ago. They remember (quite rightly) Hillsborough, Manchester, Grenfell & those killed by terrorists in France & beyond but Never for 21 Brummies. @RishiSunak @JamesCleverly @Keir_Starmer @LibDems

How lovely would it be for @BCFC @AVFCOfficial @WBA fans to stand & clap on the 21st minute in the game their teams are playing nearest to 21st November? As we haven't heard anything directly from AVFC or WBA, maybe the fans could take the lead in remembering our 21? 🙏❤️‍🩹🙏
