The way Wicked sets up Wicked Witch lore is so funny. "We need to show how she got the broom" Oh, she gets locked in a room and there's a broom there. "And the cape?" Well, the cape's also there. "Why is she 'of the west'?" She escapes the room and sort of just goes west, I guess
