- Minnesota has a Democratic governor. Minneapolis has a Democratic mayor. The Minneapolis City Council is 12-1 Democratic. The 1 is a Green. Voting alone does not fix this if elected officials remain deferential to the cops.If you woke up today angry, confused or frustrated about the direction our country is heading, I have one word for you: vote.
