I watched this 20 times this morning. The guy just guarded the whole court at 38 years old! Why? Cause he wants to win!! While adding 19 new dribble moves in the offseason is nice; it’s this effort that really helps your team win!
Hypothetical Question:
If Jalen Williams leaves Santa Clara for a high major after averaging 11.5 and 4.1 as a sophomore. Would we have watched him score 40 points in an NBA final 4 years later?
My gut says no. Dollars are dollars but let’s not lose sight that fit matters!
“The Last Practice”, we got together and competed one last time today. These guys went 40 days at one point without a loss, that doesn’t happen by luck. Energy was the same as it was all year. Special group!! Best of luck to those moving on. Once a Warrior, always a Warrior!!!
We have the privilege of competing on your court every day. And anyone that has played for you knows that there is a full court 1 on 1 on 1 game going on in heaven today. Truly one of a kind and meant so much to so many of us. Love you coach.
