I believe Kenny Payne had the best of intentions when he took this job. I believe he sincerely wanted to bring Louisville back to prominence. However, due to his lack of head coaching experience, he has unfortunately made the situation far worse than it was.

John Calipari says there is “no ill will” towards Kentucky. “I loved my time there. Loved it.” He acknowledges that he stayed past the 10 year shelf life with the program but hopes fans don’t feel like he stayed too long.
