She was 15 years old when he was beating her on camera. That means he likely met her when she was 14 or even younger. It does not matter how brainwashed or compliant she may have been. She was a child and sexual abuse is evil.

A lot of male abuse victims don’t want to admit that they were abused. It’s easier for them to pretend like they instigated rather than admit that they were taken advantage of in that way. It’s horribly painful and tragic.

To escape a fire, a 10-year-old boy dropped his 3-year-old brother out of a 5th or 6th story window, then jumped himself. Both are ok. The bravery this took is incredible.

Welp. I've figured out why our dog, Luna, cries to go outside at 1AM. Every night. Because at 1AM. Every night. Our sprinkler system goes off, sending dozens of toads hopping through the dark, wet grass, and Luna wants to chase the toads. At 1AM. Every night.
