Some of you know but for those who don't - my father passed away last night. Ed was a great hockey fan, taught me all about it as a kid and drove me to countless chilly rinks. After 86 years he decided it was time to share the view. And it was time to be with mom again.
I still think stuff like this should win a player the Lady Byng Trophy. I'll take gestures like this over the guy with high points and low penalty minutes.
Ted Lindsay has passed at 93. Outstanding player, NHLPA founder but my fav memory was how he boycotted his own HHoF in '66 induction because wives and families were not allowed to attend. The rule changed after that. RIP.

Not all kids develop early. Relax. Let them have fun.
