In fact, CAA, which provides security for air travel, wouldn’t answer any questions beyond confirming Fairburn worked there. What role did he work in, or even is CAA is conducting an investigation into how the hire happened? A former minister said they should “urgently”.

It comes after anti-fascists revealed in September that Jordan Milburn, an employee of CAA, was running for Upper Hutt City Council. Zane and Hector, as Milburn and Fairburn called themselves, often featured on the group’s podcast together.
