- this week I'm talking to Scott McKenzie about restoring the river trent, burbot and putting the world to rights!
- Did you know that Sea Trout (salmo trutta) and Atlantic Salmon (salmo salar) can hybridise? Here a large female trout is digging a redd and a male salmon comes in and starts shaking next to her to get her to release eggs. Hybrids are tricky to I.D but they are out there!
- Sunny start to Birdfair 11:30 I’m speaking at the plover tent about UK rivers and 12pm I’m at Wildsounds doing a book signing they even have copies of my first book first I’ve seen in over a decade!
