Was perhaps best @TheMasters Club Dinner I recall. Great company & conversation. Food was sensational! Best part was when Hideki Matsuyama, who doesn’t speak English well, gave a 3-min speech in English—without a single note. @GaryPlayer then responded. In Japanese. With notes.😉

.@garyplayer might be, pound for pound, the finest golfer in history. And closing in on 85, he’s still tough to beat! He plays 5 days a week, and as you can see, he’s still trying to learn and always trying to get better.

I miss calling Arnold on his birthday. Every year we always had a great conversation, and each year that passed, it was less and less about golf. I miss those calls, just like I dearly miss him. Happy 91st, Arn!

Today, Barbara and I celebrate our 60th wedding anniversary! We met our first week of college in 1957 and have been together ever since. Married at 20; 5 kids; 22 grandkids; countless memories. It’s been an unbelievable life together.

I want to send my heartfelt congratulations to Hideki Matsuyama for his Masters Tournament victory, and for being the first Japanese male golfer to win a major championship. I’m not only very happy and pleased for Hideki, but also the whole golfing world of Japan.
