This morning in Paris, across the street from Notre Dame, in front of Shakespeare & Company - the most famous bookshop in the world - @BranMci got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. Surprising no one, I said yes.

Out of love and respect for a character to whom I’d grown exceptionally close over the years, I stopped following AoT after Erwin died. If he never reached the basement, neither would I. I wasn’t ready to let go; this was how I stayed connected to him.

Personally, I think professionals who show grace and decorum in the face of misfortune are far more impressive than those who act petty and defensive after getting their way. 🤷🏻♂️
