When my parents came to the US from Mexico, my dad ran a trucking business and my mom took care of me and my sister. They never imagined that their daughter would be running for Congress to fight for families like ours. South Texas deserves a Democrat who shares our values.

Henry Cuellar was the only Democrat to vote with Republicans against codifying #Roe. I’ll always stand for our health care and the right to choose. In 21 days, Cuellar & I will face off in the Democratic runoff. Let’s defeat the last anti-choice Democrat in the US House. #TX28

Asking us to “out-organize” the attacks on voting rights and reproductive health care is so disheartening because we did out-organize these attacks—last November. Congress needs to act. It’s now or never. The stakes have never been higher.

Against a 26 year old, first-time candidate, with $2 in the bank at the beginning of her campaign who champions Medicare for All, a Green New Deal—which is also a JOBS PROGRAM—and a $15 minimum wage. But go off

This fight was an opportunity to prove that a brown girl from the border with a whole community behind her could take on the machine and bring hope to South Texans. This is just the beginning in #TX28.
