Officers have responded multiple times today due to people moving the road-closed signs and cones to drive under the tree on Newport Way NW & NW Dogwood St. Please stop, It's extremely dangerous! PWO is working on getting it removed as soon as they can.
Around 6:30 am, a truck was driven into the front of the @Costco retail store. Shots were fired, and glass jewelry case was hit. Search and investigation continues. No injuries reported.
Today in Issaquah there were a handful of participants on the steps of city hall on Sunset expressing their 1st Amendment Rights to free speech w/no incidents thus far & they have since dispersed. We are actively monitoring the events of the region. Updates if any changes
AMAZING rescue today on 17th & Newport by Issaquah Public Works & IPD to save 5 ducklings who fell down a city drain. PWO got down into the drain for the rescue...above and beyond! Thank you for looking out for our people AND our wildlife!

There is great sorrow in hearing the tragedy in Bothell of one officer injured & another being fatally shot & killed last night in the line of duty. Our thoughts & prayers are with their families.
In the last week alone, Issaquah Police officers arrested six suspects, who stole a variety of items from local retailers. Thank you to our business community for its continued partnership in theft prevention and response.

IPD & other agencies have arrested 2 suspects after officers attempted stop a stolen vehicle in Issaquah today. The suspects led police to Bellevue, where they carjacked a woman, fought w/officers & rammed a patrol car.
