    IGR STATEMENT ON THE INCLUSION OF ISRAEL FOLAU IN THE WORLD XV. International Gay Rugby (IGR) were dismayed to learn of Israel Folau’s inclusion in the World XV side coached by Steve Hansen to be played at Twickenham on May 28.Folau’s unrepentant stances towards the civil and human rights of LGBTQ+ people reek of homophobia and transphobia, and it is greatly concerning that such a person is included in a game with the profile of the one that will be played at Twickenham.IGR welcomes the RFU show of support for the LGBTQ+ community at the Barbarians and World XV game by flying the pride flag on top of Twickenham for the game and pride month and that every player will be gifted rainbow laces to wear during the game by the IGR.
