    WATER BILL IMPROVEMENT: @HoustonTX Mayor Whitmire announced the Houston Water Bill Improvement Plan. Customers will see changes on their water bills, starting in May. Learn more at ImproveWaterBills.org

    The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality has authorized Houston to start collecting regulatory samples today in an effort to lift the boil water notice. The samples have to be clear of bacteria before TCEQ will give Houston the okay to lift the boil water notice.
