Some dude tracked a lady down because she made bad comments on Facebook ("The shooter should have been a better shot"). He got her on camera at Home Depot, her job, and now she's fired. If you're trying to get some nobody fired, you're almost always the bad guy.

This image stays with me. It was August 2020, a crowd (mostly white) was marching in support of BLM. They demanded that everyone at an open-air restaurant raise their fists. This one woman refused. If you think their behavior was good and decent, we are in deep disagreement. 1/

This ideology is on the way out. It's still widely believed and entrenched in many institutions, but its intellectual vacuousness is being exposed every day for all to see. They have no coherent argument, just snark and sanctimony. We've had enough.

The same reason some of us watch horror movies and get freaked out. We’re not actually going to be chopped up by a ghoul with pencil-sharpeners for teeth, but in the moment we identify with the victim and cringe on her behalf.

"Tactical error"? The assassination was (probably) carried out by a 22-year-old loser with no ties to any organization. He just felt mad and acted on his grudge. There was no strategic thinking behind his pulling the trigger. This was not some left-wing plan gone awry!
