I was there in Southport today. I can confirm that, of those shouting abuse at the PM today, 2 of them were stood saying “I hate him” before Starmer had even arrived.
They just used this most somber of moments as an excuse to abuse a man who they hate.
Basically says “we’re surprised that they managed to find out all this stuff to such a precise detail, so we don’t really have an answer because we’ve been blindsided” haha
