- Let’s just end this line of thinking… SEC Baseball is not “like AA” SEC baseball is the best level of amateur baseball in the world, but it’s nothing like AA minor league baseball.

- Maturing in baseball is moving away from Bruce Bolts to using Franklin batting gloves.
- Arch Manning threw for 169 yards in the 4th quarter, down 17 points on the road, to lead Texas to one of its biggest 4Q comebacks in school history. Hope that gets a couple minutes this week in the face of so much hate on the Arch Manning narrative train.
- Observation from Jupiter.. 90-92mph does not phase high level HS hitters like it use to. The rise of the machines have made hitters more adaptable. I think the pendulum is about to swing back (if it hasn't already) to sinker/slider profiles, & guys who get ground balls.
- Scouts aren’t keeping box scores in the stands and rarely know (or care) what the score is. They’re looking for DUDES. They’re looking for skill sets. They’re looking for guys who play every pitch like it’s their last. Stop letting a bad AB or bad inning effect your effort.
- Absolute joke. 28-27, and the 11th best team in their conference? Getting in over TCU, Lamar, and other programs who were BETTER all season. @NCAABaseball - do better.There will be 11 #SEC team in the @NCAABaseball tournament with Florida in the field. The Gators, of course, have an AD on the committee.
- Maybe an unpopular take but…stop making teenagers wake up at 5am to go lift/workout before school. Unless they’re asleep by 9pm, I promise you that them getting 8 hours of sleep will be more beneficial for them than some 45 minute workout before school.
- 1,506 baseball players are in the NCAA transfer portal as of today...Dudes, make sure you choose the right FIT, and not just go with the biggest name that comes calling. “Fit” is everything when it comes to your college experience! #TheMoreYouKnow
- CDC now recommends pitchers to stop worrying about velocity until they can locate their fastball.
- JUCO game Friday… Team 1 starter: LHP 93-96, wipe out slider. Team 2 starter: JUCO All American. LHP 90-93. Both threw strikes. Final score was 10-9. You aren’t “settling” for JUCO. You’re lucky to be there, and you better be a DUDE if you want to see the field.
- If you were offered nearly triple the salary you're making right now to take your dream job, would you do it? I think 100% of people would. I get the Aggie hatred towards Schloss, but be realistic about it from your own perspective.
