The fall of Helldivers 2 needs to be taught in game dev conferences for decades to come. It is truly astounding how a company turned their GotY contender into a desolate wasteland in just 6 months.
That first month was truly magical and we're never getting it back.
New Vegas and Halo 3 are in the same boat of being great games with the most irrational, ravenous, narcissistic cult of personality worshipping their existence to the point you aren't allowed to like anything else without being considered a "fake fan."
