    thanks to all who sent messages after the passing of my best mate Ian Lavender. We lived near to each other & he was the closest I had to a brother. I saw him shortly before he left us & we held hands . Words weren't necessary. His wife Miki has been truly amazing and strong x x

    Yesterday, despite the best medical and veterinary care , our beloved George finally lost his battle against his severe thyroid & renal disease. Teaser & Harry can't understand why he's not around this morning & nor can we. It's so desperately sad. The floor is awash with tears.

    Ozzy has left us ......and left us with amazing memories and will will miss him greatly........Isn't it about time the UK had it's own Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ?........

    I desperately want to see Pen's plane arrive back safely ...I am saying my prayers for him , his team and the dogs , but I am fast losing faith in so many of our political leaders (so called) around the world. ...... there is so much that is wrong. It makes me very very sad.

    Yesterday was so desperately sad. Amidst floods of tears, we said goodbye to our beautiful rescue dog Garo who had been suffering so much. He's deservedly at peace now & we will never forget him. He brought so much love into or lives & the lives of all who met him. RIP Garo-Bear

    Having lost Ian Lavender and Dave Myers and 2 other close friends in the last couple of weeks , I am trying to stay positive as they would have wished me and all the friends' they have left behind ....but it's not easy .

    Floods of tears in the Wakeman household yesterday as Harry finally lost his fight for life . He's up in cat heaven now with George chasing leaves and Rachel and I will miss him so much . Our pets have always been more than pets . They are family, as indeed all pets should be.

    sadly since Twitter became X , I have been losing followers in their droves and so I am going to give it until the end of the year and like a lot of my mates , seriously consider closing it down ..... sad, because it's been a lot of fun in the past

    I was so sad to hear about the passing of Alan yesterday. He was such a gentle soul...except when behind his drum kit where he was so powerful and creative. I will miss you brother

    Our beloved black pussy cat George is very unwell with possible kidney failure and other serious worries. He's currently with our wonderful vet , so fingers crossed. No sleep for us last night with lots of prayers for the little fellah. Like all pets should be , George is family.
