For those of you who have not heard, my brother David Hess went home to heaven on Wednesday. He was just 51 years old. Gone, far too soon. David was a sports nut and loved UVa, the Redskins & the Pirates. Prayers are appreciated

- Dinwiddie at Hopewell game was on our radar for GOTW this week but I was informed by the Hopewell AD that the Central District is chargring $100 per game for radio stations to carry games. Thus it was eliminated from consderation. We can't and won't pay for regular season games.
- Is there any better sports story in the state this year than @VMI_Football? Keyders are 6-1, @SoConSports champs and headed to FCS playoffs for 1st time ever. Congrats to @CoachSWach, his staff & all the players. Well done.
