Hello everyone. I’d really love to hear from anyone concerned about the fact self-isolation could end this month. I know it’s a pretty terrifying thought for many disabled people but if you’re happy to share your concerns with me, please do get in touch - [email protected] xxx

Last week on @BBCBreakfast I did something I've not done since I landed my job, speak about myself on telly. But so many parents were so honest with us during #bbcsend week, it felt like the right time. Working when you have a disability isn't always easy. Thanks @louiseminchin

Update for everyone who has asked…I’ve spoken to my contact at the Department for Work and Pensions who has confirmed that the wait to find out who will be appointed Minister for Disabled People, Health and Work is totally normal and will be announced soon.

1/6 We’ve been a bit quiet lately but for good reason. Let me explain… This past year we’ve been covering stories about the pandemic and its impact on deaf and disabled people. We could see how they were being disproportionately affected…

Loved putting on a fancy frock and spending time in Northampton with the phenomenal @neelamASingh (who I forgot to take a selfie of, so here’s a pic of just me, i’m sorry.) I’ve never been fed or looked after better. People of all faiths, coming together to enjoy food and music.
Nikki is sitting outside in her red mobility scooter by the grass at the Indian Hindu Welfare Organisation’s community centre. She’s wearing a very frilly pale pink maxi dress with a black blazer over her shoulders. She has long blonde hair, is wearing too much makeup and she looks knackered.

10k followers! Now I’m rubbish at social media, always have been, so thank you so much to all my new followers and to those who have been with me from the start, when I barely had a career and used to box dye my hair. It’s loyalty like that we need more of in the world 😂 xxx

Six out of ten people who have died from Coronavirus had a disability, according to new figures out today. I spoke to Andrea who lost her wonderful, sci-fi loving sister Cath. She wrote a poem about the loss. It broke my heart. See our report on @BBCNews at six tonight.
