A little kindness can make a huge difference Mrs F & I have been out for a meal tonight & saw a young girl crying walking home, we asked what happened & her boyfriend had thrown poor Chloe out of the taxi We gave her a lift, saving her a 2 hour walk & made sure she got home safe!

The multi agency response is still ongoing to the weather related major incident in Cumbria. CFRS have been working through the night rescuing people from their cars trapped in deep snow. Please do not travel unless necessary as many roads are still affected with snow and ice.
