It's the new "deferred lighting rendering pipeline", which isn't as good looking as RTX but works on mobile/consoles and can be fully customised with a resource pack (normal maps, sun angle/intensity, coloured lights, etc)

Mojang have accidentally shown item physics in a Bedrock Edition changelog.
This is likely a leaked 1.21 feature, as there is currently no physics mod available for Bedrock.
According to Mojang support, you'll lose access to Minecraft but you'll have 18 months to request a refund.
From today, they will no longer help you migrate.
The exact deadline is 3pm UTC on September 19th 2023.
And no, old usernames will not be freed up.
