- Adnan Cheema, UNDP Resident Representative, who arrived in the city today on an official visit, met with Mayor @ismailrafeeq. Discussions focused on strengthening collaboration and joint initiatives for sustainable development.
- Ambassador H.E. Ishigami Rumiko, on an official visit to the city today, paid a courtesy call on Mayor @ismailrafeeq. Mayor briefed the Ambassador on the composting machine recently delivered to the island with support from the People and the Government of Japan.
The Mayor and the Ambassador reaffirmed the strong bilateral cooperation, with the Ambassador expressing appreciation for the city’s continued partnership with Japan.
