Between the hints that Alastor’s father might’ve been abusive, Lilith owning his soul and making him do who knows what, how he treats husk, and how he feels the need to prove how powerful and dangerous he is.
I think it’s obvious that the man is in a VICIOUS cycle of abuse.—
