It’s amazing how life comes full circle. My dad is a huge Dodgers fan and named me after Dusty Baker. Throughout the years I saw him and he was always nice enough to take the time to say hi. I told him one day I’d be down in the dugout with him. Somehow it actually happened.

This, THIS, is what is ruining baseball. Detroit should have already handed Skubal a blank check. He’s the face of that rotation and willed them to a near victory in the ALDS. This is insanity that they would make the best pitcher on earth available.

So on this app I’ve learned that the Dodgers: - should field the ball when it is stuck/wedged and calling time like the ground rules indicate is lame - should not spend money on free agents because it’s cheating - fill only 56,000 more seats then the Padres per game in the NLDS,

I’m not even joking, the MLB needs to do a way better screening process of which umpires deserve to be behind the dish. The strike zone in this Dodgers Padres series has been an absolute travesty.

The Dodgers won 100 games in 2023. The Dodgers won 111 games in 2022. The Dodgers won 106 games in 2021. The Dodgers won 106 games in 2019. In 3 of the last 4 full seasons of play, the Dodgers have had 100+ wins & yet have been knocked out in the NLDS. That is unacceptable.

SMU got their teeth kicked in by a really good Penn State team. Alabama is getting their teeth kicked in by a slightly above average Michigan team. The #CFBPlayoff Committee got it right, Paul Finebaum can go cry in a corner.

I have no idea what situation we will get to see this guy pitch in. Mop up, down a pair of runs, up a few runs, whatever it may be, this is his last series of baseball in his career. It has been such an honor to grow up watching Clayton Kershaw pitch. He’s the best pitcher
