Nepal starts selling 177.7 MW electricity to India. Average clearing price of the electricity has been maintained at INR 7.04 per unit, according to NEA. This is the first time that the country is exporting such huge quantity to India. In the near future it is expected to rise.

According to the Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, India has now allowed Nepal to export 364 MW of hydroelectricity to India. It will help Nepal to reduce its trade deficit, generate revenue and increase GDP growth. Good news!!!

Shaligram stones from Kali Gandaki in Muktinath🇳🇵reached Ayodhya 🇮🇳 today. The stones gifted by 🇳🇵(birthplace of Sita) will be used to carve idols of Ram and Janaki (Sita). These stones are only found in🇳🇵. This is a historic moment that further deepens our religious ties!

Great news! Nepali nationals can now obtain a SIM card on the basis of their passport, Citizenship Certificate, voter's ID, or ID issued by the Embassy. Citizens of🇳🇵were denied a SIM card earlier due to technical reasons. Our request was processed quickly by MEA and the MoC, 🇮🇳

अब नेपाली नागरिकता, पासपोर्ट, मतदाता परिचयपत्र आदि कागजातका आधारमा नेपालीले भारतीय मोबाइल सिमकार्ड पाइने भएको छ। पहिले प्राविधिक कारणले पाइदैन थियो। राजदुतावासले औपचारिक अनुरोध गरेको केही हप्तामा यो निर्णय हुनु खुसीको कुरा हो!
