    I’ve never put up a picture on here related to my medical work but I am today For one reason - to say please do what you can to help the current situation. Follow the guidance, be respectful of others, stay safe - if we all do this, we will get through to the other side 💙💙

    Love being part of @BBCR1 Life Hacks for many reasons-one being that we cover conditions that are not really covered elsewhere & help people realise they are not alone-yesterday’s show with brill @doddleoddle about Depersonalisation Disorder was an example of this @BBCSounds

    Difficult days 🌝🌗🌚 1) Be proud of yourself for getting through it 2) Tell someone how you feel 3) Draw a line under the day 4) Comfort yourself - pjs/bath/fluffy socks 5) Take your mind away - film/read/audiobook 6) Early to bed - tomorrow is a new day

    Things to be proud of today 🌈🌈 1) getting up, out of bed & through the day 2) letting someone know if you’re struggling & being gentle with yourself 3) making choices in each moment to help yourself feel better 4) looking for the kindness & the good 5) spreading love & hope

    Never Assume 💛 1) someone is ok because they’re smiling 2) things are easy because they are doing them 3) they don’t need support because they haven’t asked for it 4) they’re being ‘rude’ if they take time for themselves 5) they’re coping because they are just about hanging on

    Sundays Are For 💛 1) Breakfast in bed - not caring what time it is 2) A stroll in the park - kicking up the autumn leaves 3) A well deserved lunch - and really enjoying it 4) A cup of tea, an afternoon film, fluffy slippers & a cosy blanket 5) Cuddles, warmth, ease & rest

    Have a ‘proper’ day off🧘🏽‍♂️🛀🏻 📖 1) Take a complete break from news 2) Turn your phone off 3) Let go of worrying for today 4) Do something that made you happy when you were little 5) Be a detective & find joy in the small & simple things 6) You deserve it & will do you good
