25 athletes from 13 schools. These are the kids that the @IHSA_IL is hurting by preventing or punishing them from/for taking the field at @PrepBaseballIL State Games next week! If IHSA is truly for the kids, then stop preventing them from being recruited to move on to college!

Hear a lot of people question the direction of this program. Know this: Bear Kelley takes care of his players like they’re at a D1, they lift and train like a D1 and schedule like they’re not afraid of anybody. Awesome to see local kids take down the No. 1 team in the country!

Today in downstate Illinois, in a game between @MSBulldogBS (enrollment 987) and @Hearts_Baseball (enrollment 816) the starting pitchers topped at 99 and 96, respectively 👀👀👀 The game has changed. If you don’t change with it, you’re gonna get left behind.

Mark my words, there’s gonna be a lot of dudes who pull @NolanGorman aside during BP and ask who helped him hone that swing! And then there’s gonna be a line of big leaguers all the way down to Legend’s Corner! All because @TJHannam10 is the best communicator I know!

True story: Back in 2018, my dad suffered a heart attack. While recovering from bypass surgery, he wanted to watch Running Scared. I tweeted that out and Billy Crystal took time to wish my father well in his recovery. Fan of that movie for life!

15 years ago tonight I had my first date with this beautiful lady! A lot changed since then, but she’s hung with me and supported me thru everything! Trust me when I say marry a woman who loves baseball, boys! Even if that means watching the @whitesox instead of the @Cubs 😢😢
