At the request of the @EU_Commission, the presentation by President @vonderleyen of EC structure and portfolios to EP leaders will take place on 17th of September at 9 am CEST in Strasbourg. - The European Parliament approves the new European Commission proposed by @vonderleyen with 370 votes in favour, 282 against and 36 abstentions. Following the conclusion of the hearings process, this College of Commissioners will take office on 1 December 2024 for five years.
- 🆕Commissioners-designate have answered written questions that EP committees and MEPs have addressed them. Essential part of the hearing process, these replies are now published on the EP dedicated website (language versions to follow within 48h) ⤵️
