- Debbie Lesko repostedThe security footage really speaks for itself, but here are the facts: - Justin Heap's Chief Information Officer (CIO) took a pre-tabulation scanner … while election results were actually being tabulated … and drove off with it in what looks like a personal vehicle. - BudgetNewly released surveillance video shows the controversial removal of a Maricopa County ballot scanner during an election earlier this year. azfamily.news/3rmj5ffp #elections #ballots #tempe #maricopacounty
00:00 - I always enjoy my time with business and community leaders in Buckeye. These men and women are making tremendous contributions to this quickly growing city!
- The video speaks for itself. Recorder Heap has some explaining to do.
- Who takes a machine from the elections building after they've been told it's not theirs, loads it into a private vehicle & takes ballot envelopes from a secured area during an election? This is what the Recorder's IT director did & it's caught on camera.
- I appreciated the opportunity to attend the Peoria North Rotary Club. Thank you to these Rotarians who are so involved in our community. You are making a difference in people's lives.
- Replying to @DebbieLeskoThe Board was forced to purchase a new elections scanner because of the unauthorized movement of the elections equipment by Recorder Heap's staff, costing Maricopa County taxpayers $70,000. This isn't conservative. This is chaos.
- If Adrian Fontes' staff took any election equipment & LIVE BALLOTS out of secured area during an election, many voters would be livid & question integrity of our elections. This is what Recorder Heap's staff has done & he's trying to justify it. Closed-circuit video doesn't lie.STATEMENT: Chair @KateMcGeeAZ and Vice Chair @DebbieLesko respond to Recorder’s latest court filing.
- I recently attended the Senior Cyber Safety & Computer Basics class offered by Maricopa County. It's very important for older adults to understand which online schemes target them and to take steps to avoid these dangers.
- Debbie Lesko repostedThe initiative imposes an income cap of $150k, removing many middle class, dual-income families from ESAs (representing 25,000+ kids) and revoking millions in scholarship dollars that have already been awarded. Decline to sign the anti-ESA ballot initiative!
- Like many of you, today I'm remembering the tremendous courage and sacrifices from the men who stormed the beaches at Normandy. We will be forever grateful for their bravery.Today, we remember the heroes of D-Day - June 6, 1944. Through extraordinary courage and sacrifice, American troops stormed the beaches of Normandy, defeated tyranny, and helped secure freedom for generations to come. Their legacy lives on. America remains forever grateful. 🇺🇸
- Debbie Lesko repostedReplying to @maricopacounty3/ In a May 6 letter to the county manager, Heap acknowledged his Chief of Staff’s email but contradicted it, saying the approvals were “sent in error” and did “not reflect the position” of the Recorder’s Office.
