Every high school playoff preview I read says the teams record, top 3 scorers and their points per game. So when I talk to a potential recruit after a game and they say “I didn’t play very well.” Your team won by double digits and you shot 4-7. You won!! PPG isn’t the goal.
I’m extremely fortunate to have coached @_nateschneider for those two years at Pitt-Bradford and now to be close friends. He’s the best player to ever play at UPB and will soon be in the HOF. Glad he sent that email asking to try out for the team 😂
