What final rankings would look like if there were no auto bids and we actually took the top 12 teams: 1. Oregon 2. Georgia 3. Texas 4. Notre Dame 5. Penn State 6. Tennessee 7. Ole Miss 8. Alabama 9. Ohio State 10. Indiana 11. South Carolina 12. Arizona State

So let me get this straight. Georgia is 3 last week, and drops to 12 after losing to 16, while Miami is 4 last week and drops only to 9 after losing to an unranked team. I’m happy Ole Miss is ahead of Georgia, but that literally makes no sense why Miami didn’t drop more.

Let’s see, Urban Meyer covers up Aaron Hernandez at Florida & domestic violence at OSU. Art Briles covered up numerous rapes at Baylor. Tennessee & Vandy had rape issues of their own. What’s gotten CFB folks more stirred up than any of that? Ole Miss recruiting violations.

Ole Miss/Alabama Common Opponents Georgia: Bama won by 7 at home. Ole Miss won by 18 at home. South Car: Bama won by 2 at home. Ole Miss won by 24 on road. LSU: Bama won by 29 on road. Ole Miss lost by 3 on road. Oklahoma: Bama lost by 21 on road. Ole Miss won by 12 at home.

Give Matt Corral the Heisman. He’s the best player in the country. He battled his own injury, his top 3 WRs being hurt, his starting TE being hurt for year, multiple OL hurt (including the OL leader for the year). He’s a warrior and deserves it. Give it to him. #HEI2MAN

PSA for the idiots out there: Ole Miss beat South Carolina by 24 at their place! They had a 3 TD lead at the HALF. South Carolina’s best win is at Clemson. Clemson lost to Georgia on a neutral field by 31! Georgia must be pretty good then, right? Well, Ole Miss beat them by 18!

How in the hell is $2000 cash a level 3 for LSU, but $800 cash and sleeping on Chris Kiffin’s couch two separate level 1s for Ole Miss?

Ole Miss: Wins over 13 & 17; Losses to 1 & 8 on road. Missouri: ZERO T25 wins; Losses to 1 on road & 13 (same team OM beat) at home. Penn State: Win over 18 (ranked lower than both OM wins); Losses to 2 at home & 6 on road. But Ole Miss is ranked behind both. MAKES NO SENSE!

Why do people keep leaving Ole Miss out of these discussions? Guess it’s not impressive to beat the SEC champs by three scores. Oh yeah, and Ole Miss beat South Carolina by 24 on the road too.

One could argue that both Alabama and South Carolina's resumes get big boosts with Georgia and (if score holds) Clemson winning conference titles. So strange to hear Warde Manuel say those teams can't jump in the rankings because they're not playing. I don't get it.
