- To calculate sermon length, you take the number of verses you are preaching and divide that by 66 (books of the Bible). Then you multiply that by a factor of two and find the square root of that number. Then you take the size of your church, subtract 40, add 7, and boom. Done.
- Today before my presbytery and all my brothers and fathers in the Lord, I was examined for Lic. And Ord. By the grace God and the commendation of his Church, I passed both exams! Deeply humbled to serve His bride as an under-shepherd in the PCA.

- Friends, it is wildly bittersweet to announce that I will no longer serve as the Assistant Pastor @RedeemerOC. However, I have accepted a new call to serve as an Assistant Pastor @RPCATX. Our family is looking forward to serving a great church in a great city starting this fall!
