UFC will never do it but there should be a rule that you have to defend the title a minimum of 5 times before changing divisions to chase another belt. That would solve so many problems.
One more thing — Demian Maia deserves far more praise than he usually gets. He's 10-3 in his last 13 with his only losses coming in decisions to Usman, Colby and Woodley. That's damn impressive if you ask me.
