We found Maki, the stolen lemur from @sfzoo!! Around 5pm, we got a report he was in the playground area of the Hope Lutheran Church. We contained him until staff from the zoo took him back home. Here is Officer Haas with Maki. We are grateful Maki is home safely!

Due to shelter in place for #COVID-19, we decided to NOT to issue citations for street cleaning violations. Street sweeping is now suspended. All other parking laws will be enforced. We will let you know when the order is lifted and when street sweeping resumes. Please stay safe.

New scam: People are claiming to be from the CDC offering to let people "reserve a vaccine for the COVID-19" with a credit card and/or social security number. There is no vaccine reserve program, and the CDC is not offering anything of the sort. Do not fall prey!

(1/5) On Wednesday at about 3:45 pm, four juvenile suspects wearing ski masks did a “grab and run” from Dick’s Sporting Goods in Daly City. A witness described the suspect vehicle and the suspects.

Help find missing person! On 04/01/2021 at 4:30pm, Edgardo Cuesta was reported missing from the 1200 block of Southgate He is mute, hearing impaired, and uses a walker. He is 63, 5’4”, 160 lbs., with gray hair, and has brown eyes. Call us! 650-991-8119.

(5/5) The suspect vehicle was determined to be a stolen vehicle. The four juvenile suspects are facing multiple felony charges. Thanks to @CHPSanFrancisco and @SFPD for the assist!

STREET SWEEPING ENFORCEMENT INFORMATION: On Monday, June 15, 2020, the City of Daly City is lifting the suspension of street sweeping enforcement that has been in effect since March 16, 2020. We will be resuming our regular enforcement starting on Monday, June 15, 2020.

Alert! There is a report of someone with a gun on the campus of Jefferson High School. We are there now & can not confirm if there is a weapon. The campus is contained. We will send more info as we get it.
