Fifteen years ago I was called into an all-staff meeting where we were told that a pupil starting September was a girl even though he was a boy at primary school, and that we were to pretend to all other pupils he was a girl.
I refused to be complicit in a lie, so lost my job.
To this day, I cannot believe that I was the only teacher to take that stance. And being only there a year, I had the most insecure position. The number of teachers not prepared to do the right thing should scare all of us.
I saw my daughter on Saturday.
What our sick society has done to her is unforgiveable.
Yet, if I were to express my rage at this in any useful way, it is I who would be painted as the villain.
Our uncivilised society has failed, it has failed thousands of children and parents.
I spent some time with the amazing @BillboardChris this afternoon. There was a bit of argy-bargy with the less intellectually curious denizens of Oxford.
The rise of social media is culpable.

Schools are culpable.
Those places that are supposed to act in 'loco parentis' do no such thing. Young teachers have been indoctrinated into the cult of gender ideology and they are busy converting your kids (or letting other kids do their dirty work) (4)
Computer gaming is culpable:
Roblox, Fortnite and games your kids are playing have private chat spaces and communities where other kids promote the idea that a kid can be 'trans' (spoiler: it's only a social identity, not innate). Trans groomers exist - your kid is an 'egg'. (3)
1) If you used the women's bathroom then you are a pervert.
2) "Trans women" are men - full stop (no period!).
3) There is nothing biologically female about a man.
4) 'cis' in this context is offensive, cease using it.

But all is not lost. Our institutions may be captured, but we can recapture them for truth, reason and the scientific method.
But such a victory for reality requires everyone to do their bit. Call out #GenderWooWoo wherever you see it. Be diligent and thorough. (8/n)
Medical schools in the UK have signed up to a pledge promoted by GLAAD to promote gender ideology to trainee doctors. Yup, that's right, doctors are trained to put gender (a nonsense) over sex (reality). (6/n)

In UK, the National Health Service is culpable.
@NHSEngland actively promotes transgenderism. The Cass review is likely just a sop, a delaying tactic, the political 'long grass'. Kids are still being maimed, single-sex wards are a myth. (5/n)
It seems that @Girlguiding has lost 1/3 of its membership over the last 3 years. They are blaming it on the Covid-19 outbreak. However, I suspect the real reason is that parents know that Girl Guiding has ditched safeguarding girls in favour of appeasing the trans lobby.
