Status update: I've been cleared to return to work! Feeling good, no setbacks. Next Thursday I can drive again. Three weeks and one day ago I was on the operating table. It's hard to believe.

Just got word Ferris junior Castle Keaton struck out 21 of the 22 batters he faced in a 9-0 complete-game win over Ridgeline. He was one hit away from an immaculate game. Just unheard of at the varsity level.
His final line: 7 innings, 0 runs, 1 hit, 0 walks and 21 strikeouts.
No teams in the finals and so for that reason, Tacoma Dome, I am out. Next stop: food I can eat with a fork instead of out of a paper bag. Until next year…
