I get negative comments about my appearance and/or disability whatever city I’m in. Though, it is happens mostly when there are lots of drunk people around. Ableism exists and I will be fighting it until my death.

When I got into my mid-30s people were like, ‘Are you worried about getting older, don’t you wish you were young again?’ I was like… “Dude, I’ve got Cerebral Palsy, I’m able to stand. I was supposed to be in a wheelchair full-time from 16. Every year on my feet is a win!” 🤘🏻

I'm gonna try and spend the rest of my life changing perceptions of what it's like to succeed with a disability, being from Hull, and fighting against all the preconceptions that come with that. It's going to be a hard slog, but I'm up for it. Thanks to everyone for supporting.
