Took a ref a little while to acknowledge my call for a timeout today. After the t/o he informed me that he lost his hearing in Afghanistan after serving 26 years for our country.
What ever I said in that t/o instantly became irrelevant.

I watched this Man make a NBA all-star team & a few months later buy & deliver lunch 2 score table workers at an AAU tournament.
Watched him interrupt an AAU practice 2 teach proper reads.
Watched him fly out HS players 2 workout w/him in the summer.
