Investigation with @TheDetailTV & the Guardian this morn. We reveal how British security services were involved in formulating the Legacy Act, despite the fact the act was supposed to investigate killings carried out by the state thedetail.tv/articles/secre… & theguardian.com/uk-news/2026/m…

Huge thanks to our lawyers for getting this result, including @anniemannion, who has been a brilliant partner with us on multiple cases, and @ClaireOverman, who was named lawyer of the week by @thetimes for her work on this case.

This is good news. Investigative reporters like Cormac are an essential part of democracy. They should not be silenced by the rich and powerful on spurious grounds. Delighted @DavidLammy confirmed in Parliament yesterday the Government will introduce anti-SLAPP legislation.

Some great news to announce this morn😁: The case against us has been thrown out! However, its absurdity highlights the urgent need for the govt to stop talking about it and act on long promised reforms. A waste of time and energy for everyone involved

In 2015, the ORCL was set up by Cameron (who later became a lobbyist) to monitor lobbying activities. We analysed all of its investigations for @TheNewWorldmag & found that 95% ended with findings of no wrongdoing. Read below -
